Build Muscle - from Zach

Good afternoon, Gladiator.

A little "lunch and learn" time. I have some powerful tips for
you and even if you're not my age (49), you want to pay
attention because man, times goes way too fast!

One day you're in your 30s and soon enough you are
almost 50.

Yesterday I chatted with Bert Sorin and we discussed
getting stronger even though we both have been
training for almost 40 years!

How can You keep improving?

Training as You "Get Older" - the key as you get older is to learn to get More from less.

Meaning, never destroy yourself and exhaust yourself in the gym or where ever it is that you train (garage gym, basement, outdoors, etc).

You want training to give you energy and improve your life, NOT to detract and exhaust you from being better in life.

Most of my training sessions hover around the 35 - 40 minute mark.

During a time crunch, it's not odd for my workouts to
last less than 30 minutes. When time allows and I have a larger window of free time, I will train for an hour and do some outdoor cardio. This
tends to be on the weekends if I am not traveling with my family.

- Another tip is NOT to compare yourself today to what you do "back in the day". So what, you don't lift as heavy, run as fast or jump as high.

Focus on self improvement. You vs YOU.

Inside my online coaching program and team at https://GetDadSTRONG.com - we keep the training super simple yet extremely effective. Dumbbells and Bodyweight. If you have Kettlebells and / or a barbell, I include variations for those training tools as well.

The men love that they are NOT locked in to training beyond 30 minutes.

They have energy for life, work and anything else.

My friend and mentor Marty Gallagher has often said, "Lift and let LIVE!" - Marty is the ultimate minimalist when it comes to training, often times one exercise, building up to one all out set and then leaving.

"Squat and Leave."

Simple is powerful and effective when implemented correctly.

More does not always mean better.

However, Better is always BETTER!

Good morning, Gladiator. I have a great reminder for you today..... Yesterday evening I went to my local high schooland got to watch some Summer Wrestling. It's quite simple actually, yet the "experts" keep denying these truths. The majority of wrestlers who were jacked and strong were the wrestlers who were winning. Yep. In a world where the "gooroos" are talking like everyone is "too strong" and how strength is making them slower, I saw the opposite. The wrestlers who were jacked and strong...

Good morning, fellow Gladiator. I hope you had a GREAT weekend and you are ready to destroy everything that stands in your way. All weekend I was in Staten Island for Baseball and I was remembering when Staten Island was known for having a few hardcore gyms. Those days are gone. Today, the "hardcore" are mostly in their own garage and basement gyms. Commercial Gyms are an extension of influencers and too many peopleworking their thumbs while laying on benches and machines as if it was their...
