Get Stronger after 40


IRON Gladiator - Good Morning.....

Now that I am 50, I can really look back and see how WRONG
the men were who were telling me how much my life would
change once I was married, had kid, "got older" ......

And these were guys in their 30s.

Here I am, age 50, feeling STRONG.

Here's some quick, hard hitting tips to get you on track
to building size, strength, burning fat and feeling STRONG
both physically and mentally.

In no particular order:

1) Meal Prep - I usually marinate a lot of chicken and grill
in quantity.

Carbs are rice and potatoes, and also fruit.

If you hate eating the same foods, this is not the best.

It's like squatting, benching, etc for decades. You gotta
LOVE the basics.

2) Steady State Cardio - I will admit, I LOVE lifting but
with my hectic life, I often put off walking and cardio.

That being said, results do NOT care about what you like
to do.

Like to do this or that is for BOYS.

MEN do what we have to do.

Start some cardio and literally feel your stomach shrink.

3) Get STRONGER - Build muscle by doing the WORK.

Stop wasting time on the fads and gimmicks.

Do the exercises that have been proven to deliver results.

Think of the men from The Silver Era; NO fancy equipment or
supplements yet they had the best physiques and they
chased Strength.

4) LIVE Simple - A hectic life filled with drama and negative energy
will derail your nutrition, your energy levels and overall health.

As a business owner, I feel that stress.

After 25 years in business, I learn to manage the emotions and
minimize the roller coaster effect.

Step 1 for me is lifting in the morning - this sets the tone for
your day and empowers you to dominate the rest of your day.

You also gifted yourself the time to do your thing and so
after school with kids and family, you are present and
at your best.

Back in 2009, I recall taking a "sick day" from teaching when my buddy Joe Kenn reached out to bring his staff to trainat The Underground.
